Everything I Own is in this Photo
Yea, you read that right. My entire life fits one checked bag, a duffle, and a backpack.
A Quick Reminder
Our time in life is short and we’ll never know how much time we have. spend time doing things you love and never look back ✌️
The Stigma Over Mental Illness
This morning i am jumping on a plane to Tampa to join the Florida Bar Young Lawyer Board of Governors in our mission to end the stigma over mental illness in the legal profession through our StigmaFreeYLD campaign.
Say hello to my mom 👋
She’s incredibly caring, creative, and loves holiday traditions. for as long as i can remember she would open up our home to friends and family who didn’t have anywhere to go for the holidays. she makes everyone feel welcome, cooks way too much food, and then complains when we don’t eat it all 🙄
Ending the Stigma
I don’t talk about work too much on here, but there’s something I’ve been working on that I’m incredibly proud of: my mission to help end the stigma over mental illness in the legal profession. ⠀
Where Am I Going?! I honesty have no idea 🤷🏻♂️
When I first had the idea of traveling the world, I decided to start with the US. there’s just so many cool places here I’ve never been, so it made sense to start in my own backyard and see what life was like in different places.
Grateful for New Friends in Encinitas
One of the hardest parts of a life on the road is that just when you make some new great friends, it’s time to pack up and move on. But I guess that just comes with the territory. The silver lining is that there are always new friends to be made, and social media helps to keep us connected.
Leave the World a Better Place
One of my goals in life is to leave the world a better place than I found it. So I try to give back in every new place I go.
My Last Day in Colorado
Today is my last day in Colorado. I will miss the mountains and all the great beer - but most of all - I’ll miss the friends i made along the way.
To Live a Truly Fulfilling Life
We all want different things out of life, and that’s cool. For me, my passions are exploring, traveling, reading, writing, helping other people, speaking and teaching, this niche in social media law, and spending time with my friends. The more time I spend doing those things, the happier I am. Plain and simple.
Next Stop: Arizona
Next Step: Arizona! Where the views were breathtaking, the hiking was insane, and the food was incredibly spicy. After wolfing down every deep fried delicacy North Carolina had to offer, I needed to work off some calories… so hopped on a plane to hike the Sedona vortexes.
My Adventure Started Off with a Bang
Many people were surprised to learn that Winston-Salem was my first stop on the journey. But for me, it was symbolic to go some place where the seasons change. In a way, North Carolina was a season of change for me - the end my old life in Miami, and the start of new life on the road. Life will never be the same.
Today is my last day in Miami
I had wanted to document every step of this journey for you. I had planned to show you what it’s actually like to sell everything you own, make the necessary preparations, and set off on a grand adventure. I also wanted to document this part of the journey for myself, so i could look back on it years from now and reflect on what it was like. But sometimes life has other plans.
