Life’s a Beach Town 🏖
My last few weekends have largely been spent soaking up the sun in some of Mexico’s most beautiful beach towns 🏝 Let me tell you all about them:
What are you grateful for? 🧐
Life can be a struggle sometimes. lately, I’ve been struggling to find the time to do the things i love - like taking the time to pause, reflect, and share my experiences with you.
Dia de Los Muertos en Mexico 💀
It has always been a dream of mine to celebrate the Day of the Dead in Mexico. But I never truly realized what the celebration was all about until I experienced it firsthand in Oaxaca.
Hola from Oaxaca! 👋
After three weeks in Cabo, I couldn’t be more excited to travel to the mainland of Mexico and see what life is like in Oaxaca City 🤗
The struggle is real 😑
Being remote is awesome, especially here in Mexico, but it’s not all tacos and tequila. Working from the road can be incredibly challenging - especially when you hit sudden and unexpected setbacks. And a few weeks ago, I hit my biggest one yet.
Let me tell you about Los Cabos 🏝
Los Cabos has been my home for the last few weeks - a beautiful mix of beach, desert, and mountains located at the southern tip of the Baja California Sur peninsula in northwest Mexico.
Decide what to be, and go be it ✨
Somewhere along the way, the magic we felt as a child suddenly fades away and we resign ourselves to living a “normal” life.
Greetings from Mexico 🇲🇽
After one year traveling the US, it was time to spread my wings and see the world. And my first stop is in Los Cabos.
And then we came to the end 🚘
Nearly one year ago, I set off on a journey to explore the world. i sold all of my things, packed my life into a duffel bag, and hit the road. it’s been an incredible journey.
There’s no place like home 🏠
Traveling the world can be hard. You get to see so many wonderful places and constantly set off on new adventures. But, with that said, you don’t have anywhere to call home.
Would you spend a month in Montana? 🤔
Montana is a big state with lots of countryside. I would venture to say there are more deer, cows, and horses than people. There are vast farmland and wheat fields that gave the entire state a distinct golden hue. There are also quaint country towns and small cities scattered across the map. Here’s my expert travel report with each of them.
Isn’t life grand? ✨
I say that because there’s a canyon in the background... get it? 😬But seriously, life is a precious gift that we only hold onto for so long. at times, we may take it for granted and let our time pass us by.
Riding off into the sunset 🐴
As I reflect on my time here in Jackson, I realize how hard it is to leave somewhere you feel comfortable. And it’s even harder to leave when you know you’ll be leaving your friends behind. Each time i saddle up and ride off to a new town, I struggle to keep it together knowing that i am leaving wonderful friends and a welcoming community.
Living in a hostel environment 😳
After nine months living out of AirBNBs, it was time to shake things up and spend a month living in a hostel. And it’s. been. awesome 🙌
On top of the world 🌎
There’s something about being out in nature that resets our soul, calms our mind, and helps us disconnect from the busyness of life. To sit atop a mountain, look down at the world below, and if only for a moment, be still.
i love you so much ❤️
Last week was rough. I dreaded the idea of celebrating my birthday alone, out here on the road, thousands of miles away from my friends and family. It was an empty feeling.
And then, I woke up and heard from you.
This is thirty eight 😎
And by thirty eight i mean that i took this photo last week and as of today I’m technically one year older - but let’s not get lost in the details 😬
Life’s a great balancing act ✨
Let’s face it: our time in life is short and we only have so much time to do the things we love. But trying to balance enjoyment in life while still accomplishing important things is hard. It’s something I struggle with everyday.
New life in the old west 🤠
After two months in Utah, it was time to giddy up on over to Jackson, Wyoming. Commonly known as Jackson Hole, this old western town is nestled in valley beside The Grand Tetons and is chock-full of all the adventures the old west has to offer.
Life’s a daring adventure or nothing at all ✨
Life is too short to let things pass you by, so while Salt Lake City was social distancing, I set out to tackle all of its outdoor adventures. My favorite times over the last month have been spent out in nature, exploring the wilderness, and getting lost in great outdoors.
